Feb 16, 2020 · Multiplayer is available only through a LAN connection. Third party apps, like Hamachi or Tunngle, should do the job. But I must warn you that you still can encounter Out of Sync issues from time to time. Like those you can see in Heroes 6 and Heroes 7 but less frequently.

But mostly because I noticed they have not released any real fucking multiplayer-through-Internet-with-friends-or-other-old-and-new-fans-of-the-game. Well, I am now almost 30 years old and live 1000 km away from my home town, I done have anyone to play local multiplayer with.. And multiplayer was the fun part of HOMM for me.
